What kinds of indoor games for kids do you have planned for next week? With low temperatures around the nation, it’s time to take the fun kids activities inside where it’s warm. These games don’t have to be too complicated or take a long time to perform.
The purpose is to have fun, enjoy family time and to use these indoor games as ways to sneak in exercise for your kids.
Try and get creative and combine making a craft that will be used for your indoor game. We’ve told you about scoop ball which you can find here. Here’s an example of an indoor game we do with our four-month-old baby.
Our daughter is already very active and no longer wants to lay on her back all the time. With our assistance, we help her rise from a laying position, to a sitting position and finally to a standing position. She loves seeing the world from this new perspective and it also helps develop her muscle coordination, as well as prepare her for sitting up on her own, crawling and walking.
How do we make this a kids game? By singing songs, making sound effects and counting. Get ready for a whole chapter on fun indoor games for kids! In January we’re giving away a free chapter of our kids exercise e-book to all of our newsletter subscribers. There are dozens of indoor games for kids in the e-book and they’re sure to ask you to play them over and over again.
